The Price Was Right At Hazelmere

This past Friday at Hazelmere Golf Course proved to be a day of great weather for all golfers and excellent golfing for young Amateur Brandan Price, member of Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club, as he is the first Amateur to win a VGT tournament. With an impressive score of 68, which included seven birdies, he beat out a field of 35 Professionals and Amateurs.

Asian Tour Professional James Stewart from Hong Kong, finished second with an equally exceptional score of 69, birdying five holes on the day and VGT OOM leader Andrew Smeeth added to his lead placing 3rd alone with a score of 71. Smeeth now leads the VGT OOM by about $400 over Phil Jonas with a total of $4,337.50.

In the Corporate Challenge division, Team Zibrik (Dave Zibrik, Barry Dick, Mike West and Brad Garside) was victorious with a net score of -9.
