It was a blissfully sunny yet windy day at the Point Roberts Golf Course
where the playing conditions mirrored that of a typical U.S. Open, with
heavy roughs paired with fast and firm greens.

Hallborg of Surrey’s Hi-Knoll Teaching Centre with Fraser Mulholland
In a field of 56 golfers,
one VGT Professional took it all in stride, scoring an impressive 71
with three birdies on his card. With yesterday’s performance, Jeff
Hallborg of Surrey’s Hi-Knoll Teaching Centre, has won two
consecutive VGT tournaments and moves himself ($1850) within striking
distance of Phil Jonas, the current leader of the VGT Order of Merit
($2,095) with one event remaining in the VGT Spring Series.

Other notable finishes
included Low Amateur finisher Rob Williams (79). In the Corporate
division Team Hallborg strikes again, this time beating four
other Corporate teams, including second place Corporate team finisher
Team Shasta Consulting.

Jenkins (0-5) and Brian Melnyk (6-10).
