Tournament Details The Spring $5,000 Series #3 is a one-day event featuring 60-80 premier golfers; 30-40 BC Professionals and 30-40 top BC amateurs and Juniors. Eligibility Open to all VGT Professionals and ‘PGA carded’ Professionals, Amateurs and Juniors handicap 0-10. Tournament Format This event consists of an 18 hole stroke play tournament format in each category of membership. Order of Merit points will be awarded in each category based on the number of golfers in each category.

Course Details As BC's most scenic golf course, Furry Creek Golf Course Furry Creek perfectly captures the most spectacular qualities of this part of the country. Designed by Robert Muir Graves, its front nine reflects a true mountain layout, demanding careful golf course management, and featuring several ravine-spanning shots. The back nine opens with a 165 feet vertical drop from the tee to the fairway. Described as the most difficult and most beautiful golf hole in BC, Furry Creek’s 14th hole features a peninsula green virtually surrounded by water. It is situated south of Britannia Beach and Squamish. Directions: Leave Vancouver via Route 99 north across Lions Gate Bridge or the Trans Canada Highway across the Second Narrows Bridge. Both routes connect to follow Route 99, the "Sea to Sky Highway", north. On Highway 99, you will pass through Lions Bay and Porteau Cove. The next stop is the Oceanside Community of Furry Creek. From Vancouver, the drive is about 40 minutes. |
