Tournament Details
This 36 Hole Championship stroke play event will contain a full field of 120 golfers competing for the Overall Championship Title and Low Amateur Champion. Professionals and Amateurs will be playing for a 36-hole Championship Score to determine the Open Winner. Amateurs will compete for Low Gross and Net Prizes in their handicap divisions and an overall Low Gross and Net Champion.

Full Field Size: 120 players

Eligibility:
Professionals: Priority will be given to VGT Professionals up until July 24th, 2009. Non-VGT Professionals may sign up before this date and will be considered entered for the event if the Professional side of the draw is not full by the end of July 24th.
Amateurs: Must have a registered BCGA Handicap index of 18 or less. Members are given priority until July 17th.

Entry Fee & Registration
VGT Professionals: $225 plus GST
Non-VGT Professionals: $300 plus GST
VGT Amateurs: $200 plus GST
Non-member Amateurs: $225 plus GST

Tee Times
Saturday, August 1st: Tee-times start at 7:00am. Please click ‘Early’ or ‘Late’ when registering.
Sunday, August 2nd: Tee-times start at 7:00am and will be determined by round one scores. Leaders after day one will tee-off at 11:50am

Our Professional’s OOM is based on a player's total cash earnings for 2009. The top Cleveland/Srixon player at the end of the Spring and Summer Championship will win $250 BONUS for playing the Srixon ball and $250 for playing a minimum of 9 Cleveland or Srixon Clubs. The Amateur OOM is based on the following point system for this event for each handicap flight:

1st Place: 1000 pts      11th place: 100 pts
2nd Place: 600 pts       12th place: 90 pts
3rd Place: 500 pts        13th place: 80 pts
4th Place: 400 pts        14th place: 70 pts
5th Place: 300 pts        15th place: 60 pts
6th Place: 200 pts        16th place: 50 pts
7th Place: 180 pts        17th place: 40 pts
8th Place: 160 pts        18th place: 30 pts
9th Place: 140 pts        19th place: 20 pts
10th Place: 120 pts       20th place: 10 pts

Course Details
Canadian golf course designer Russ Olsen has done an amazing job of taking advantage of the spectacular blue-green water and mountain vistas that surround Sandpiper Golf Club. This spectacular resort-style course provides golfers with constant variety by combining varying degrees of difficulty with breathtaking views. There are a number of outstanding holes, but its signature hole is the 486-yard, par 5 fifteenth. The par 72 course runs 6,500 yards from the black tees.
