2009 VGT
MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM
Who Can Apply for Membership
The
Vancouver Golf Tour has been designed for
Professionals and Amateurs with BCGA handicap
indexes 0-16. We have four playing categories
during our events: Professional, Championship
Amateur, Flight A and Flight B Amateur. We do
accept non-member entries into our tournaments
if we are not full at the time of our
registration deadline (usually one week prior to
event). At any time if we fill our tournament
fields, priority will be given to members in the
following order: Professionals, Amateurs (lowest
handicap first) and then non-members.
Amateur Only Weekend Events:
New for 2009!
We have released five new Amateur Only Events
for those Amateurs who are not able to play in
our weekday events. We now host a total of 18
Amateur events, including five – one day and
five – two day weekend Championships.
Women’s and Senior Divisions:
New for 2009!
VGT will hold separate Women’s and Senior Men’s
(must be 50 years old) flight competitions if 10
or more such players are registered by the entry
deadline. If there are less than 10 entries, the
players will be part of the regular competition
within their flight and will play from more
forward tee positions set by VGT on a course by
course basis.

Professional in both SPRING and SUMMER ORDER OF

ORDER OF MERITS. Professionals will be required
to sign his intention to play the SRIXON ball
