VGT Registration / PAYMENT Procedures

3 Simple Steps to Playing on the Vancouver Golf Tour:

1. Join Vancouver Golf Tour (If not already a "VGT/Golfbox Member" - you must select a Membership level prior to event registration.)
2. Tournament Registration (put your name on event's participant list)
3. Tournament Payment (payment for the event, prior to deadline)

Details for each step is outlined below.

Paying for your VGT Membership:

1. Visit Membership page.

2. Select the appropriate Membership level.

3. Enter Handicap and Home Course (where applicable)

4. Accept the Terms and Conditions of Membership and Tournament Entry.

5. A confirmation of your VGT MEMBERSHIP (GolfBox) with a username and password will be emailed to you within 48 hours. Once you have received your VGT (GolfBox) username and password, you can register for tournaments using the procedure outlined below.

Tournament "Registration":

To login into your VGT Membership Profile (Golfbox)

1. Enter your username and password in the "VGT Membership Login Area" form located on the left side of the Vancouver Golf Tour Site.
   

2. If prompted, click ‘yes’ to confirm your email address; make any changes to your profile then click ‘update’.
    

3. Click on My frontpage anytime to edit your profile
   

To register for an event:

1. Log into Golfox (VGT Member Area) as described above
    

2. Click on the Club Calendar icon on left side navigation.
   If you want to register for an event outside of 2 months, change the ‘to date’ to include the tournament date you want to register for
   

3. Click on the event you want to register for
   
    

4. Click 'Online Registration'.
   
    

5. Verify Your Details
   Scroll down, check that your details (including handicap factor) are correct, (click Edit Profile to make changes), pick tee-time preference (early, or late), and click ‘REGISTER’.
   
   
   Once registered, you can 'unregister' for any event without penalties anytime up until the registration deadline by following the same steps to register, but clicking ‘un-register’.
    

6. Returning to Beginning
   If you get lost in this process, click on ‘My GOLFBOX – My Frontpage’ and continue from there.
   
   Our membership and scoring program will keep all your membership details and playing records throughout the year. You will be able to see the tournaments you have pre-registered for in the member’s side of the website and have immediate access to your tee-time as soon as the draw is made.

Tournament "Payment":

In order to confirm your entry for any VGT event that offers online payment, all members are required to confirm payment before the registration deadline closes.

To confirm your entry please follow these steps from our website:

1. Click Tournament Schedule

2. Click 'Details' on the event you want to pay for.

3. Click on the appropriate entry fee for your membership status

4. Enter home club and handicap factor (if amateur)

5. Read and Accept VGT terms and conditions

6. Payment Options:

   1. To pay Online with credit card or PayPal Account, select appropriate Membership Class below and then click the "Pay Now" button to be directed to our Secure payment site.

   2. To pay Offline by cheque or money order, use this confirmation form.

7. Any payments received after the registration deadline including cheques/money orders in mail or cheque/cash on the day will be assessed a $10 + GST admin fee.

8. You will receive an email confirming your tournament payment within 24 hours of VGT either receiving your tournament payment or your email confirming on-site tournament payment.

9. Once VGT or the golf course that is running the event (Golden Ears, Chilliwack Open, etc.) has received your payment, you are officially entered for the event.
